October is Bully Prevention Month

Bullying can take a lot of forms, from teasing or spreading rumors to leaving kids out on purpose or physically attacking them. Here are a few tools and resources to help combat bullying as a parent, student, or teacher.

Volunteers Make the World Go Round

Immigration

The federal government made an announcement recently regarding immigration and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Here in the Robla School District we thought this would be a good time to remind our families about what school districts do and do not do regarding immigration. The Stuff the Bus event is coming! Help kids in the Robla School District by literally stuffing a school bus full of school supplies!

Ready for Robla

The first annual Ready for Robla event took place at Taylor Street School on Saturday, August 19, 2017. With housing and food instability impacting so many of our children, this event was designed to help our neediest children get ready to start school.

Dual Language Immersion

Robla School District will be offering a Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program at the start of the 2017-2018 school year for kindergarten students.

Tom Torlakson visits Robla Elementary

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson toured on Tuesday an Expanded Learning Program at Robla Elementary School in Sacramento to oppose proposed federal cuts to these important programs.
